There are ways to decrease depression and anxiety. Once in a while, it can be simple and simple techniques or strategies can be effective. Other times, it requires getting to the root of what is fueling your anxiety or depression. What works best depends on what is causing or fueling your depression or anxiety.

We don’t just want temporary fixes that may allow your depression or anxiety to come back but to provide you with a toolbox so that you can break the chains for good. We can achieve a life for you with more contentment and ease.

How I Can Help You with Your Depression and Anxiety

I am trained and experienced in a number of techniques have been found to reduce depression and anxiety. For people who have persistent issues, I can work with you on discovering and healing the underlying causes of your depression and anxiety. 

I often find that people with persistent depression and anxiety have experiences or struggles that underlie their conditions. Some of these include childhood emotional neglect, past trauma, stressful experiences that they haven’t deal with, patterns of comparing themselves to others, low self-esteem, low self-worth, or other struggles.

Some of the techniques I use are: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), EMDR, and mindfulness.
